All participants must demonstrate a certain level of self-sufficiency and autonomy in daily activities. The following requirements must be met for admission:
Atomic Independence Participants must be atomically independent, meaning they possess the physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to complete daily tasks independently without external assistance.
Required Abilities:
- Ability to independently perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Capability to prepare meals and manage basic cooking tasks.
- Ability to carry out routine household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining personal living spaces.
MobilityParticipants ust be able to walk independently or use mobility aids (such as a walker or cane) without requiring continuous assistance. Individuals who rely on a wheelchair or other mobility devices must be able to manage their mobility and navigate the environment without assistance.
Work and Employment Participants must have the ability to engage in employment or productive activities, whether in the form of a paid job, volunteering, or other meaningful engagements. The ability to maintain a work schedule and manage the demands of employment or daily activities independently is essential.
Social and Behavioral Expectations Participants must demonstrate appropriate social behavior in shared living environments, including the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with housemates and staff. Emotional self-regulation and conflict resolution skills are required to ensure a harmonious living space.
Health and Safety Participants must be able to independently manage their health and safety needs, including daily tasks, making and following up on medical appointments, medication coordination and intake. some assistance maybe available according to the need.
